The Little Shrikethrush is still around, often feeding quietly in the undergrowth.

 A very shy Pale-vented Bush-hen.



A flock of 14 Rainbow Bee-eaters was a surprise on a late June morning. After resting and feeding above the creek the took off heading west.

    A pleasure to come across you on the trail this morning. Thank you for introducing me to your blog site. Excellent bird photos and the gosshawk top of the list. So many interesting birds that have gone unnoticed by me. I need to keep a sharper eye on the bush around me although I did find a car key fob on Friday which I would have missed by looking into the trees. I hope our paths cross again. Graham
